Revnakoğlu Archive And It’s Value In History Of Culture
Personal archives contain various information and records. These archives encourages researchers on their work in different aspects. Personal archives have an important role on building our history of literature and culture. A newspaper article, a memory book or a graveyard sketch can give too many clues. Cemalettin Server Revnakoğlu, who has important works on history of sufism, has a tremendous archive containing rare and special notes which can be studied in history of literature. In the archive there are lots notes, sketches about famous sufis and there are too many photos, letters, memories and newspaper articles of authors and poets. In this article we attempted to highlight Revnakoğlu’s archive (including above files and kept in the Süleymaniye Manuscipt Library) and his working method.
