Güzide Taranoğlu is the one of the important women poet in Cumhuriyet Period. She combines contemporary poem and folk poem According to her, National Literature is important. She had been published Gülpınar magazines aproximately 30 years without any break. That magazine familiriazed many young poets and writers. She does work generally about themes of love, miss, death, time. Hers literary language are simply and bare. She used folk language.
