Oxymoron, contradictory or contrasting (kara güneş, ihtiyar delikanlı, siyah süt, aydınlık geceler, büyük hayallerin küçük adamı, tatlı sıkıntı, ölüden diri doğmak, acıyı bal eylemek, Erkek Fatma, kuru temizleme, cennet içindeki cehennem ya da cehennem içindeki cennet vb.) is called the phrase in the form of two words. Oxymoron is an artful expression and not a decayed and decayed language. Oxymoron is the product of the humor and astonishment in the reader or the listener, and it is one of the literary arts used to make the narrative effective in the form of a complete narration. In contrast to the constituent structures, there are varieties of oxymoron that exist in the grammatical form of language. These structures are made through the inserts that are the product of the derivation of language. Additions that reflect such situations in Turkish, + sIz, -mAz (Negative Time of Present Tense), -mAz (Partisip), ne …ne and + cIk. In addition, it is found in the structures of “lâ- bî- ve nâ-” and which enter into Ottoman Turkish from Arabic and Persian, with oxymoron structures. In this respect, the value of art in Turkish will be put forth in our study, which includes the examples of oxymoron, which is determined in the context of Modern Turkish Poetry examples.
