Cultural Educatıon and Crosswords
Globalization can be defined as giving the world what we have and taking what they have. In the first place it has a positive effect on the spread of the culture but on the other hand it plays a unifying role. Knowing the intangible cultural heritage and transferring this knowledge from a generation to another hence cultural education plays an important role in order to prevent the negativity. In today's world, this transfer process involves various ways including the cultural industry. In this study crosswords are recommended as a tool for cultural education because of theirs’s production-transfer and consumption environments and easy / quick reachablity. Intangible cultural heritage, protection of this heritage, cultural education, cultural industry and crosswords that at the intersection of these two concepts are emphasized points.
