Abstract


Coğrafyalar ve Kişiler Değişir, Yazgılar Benzeşir: Federico Garcia Lorca’nın Kanlı Düğün ve Turan Oflazoğlu’nun Keziban Tiyatrolarında Bitmeyen Kan Davaları

Federico Garcia Lorca's Blood Wedding and Turan Oflazoğlu's Keziban are two plays about blood feuds. Turan Oflazoğlu, one of the important writers of Turkish theater, translated Lorca's Blood Wedding into Turkish. Although the subject of the Keziban play is a local subject, Oflazoğlu was also influenced by Lorca's plays, especially Blood Wedding, while constructing his work. In the plays Blood Wedding and Keziban, the rural community living a life dependent on land/agriculture is chosen as the focus. The play Keziban has some similarities with Lorca's Yerma and The House of Bernarda Alba. According to the current findings, nospecial research has been conducted on the similarity or interaction between the play Blood Wedding and Keziban, nor has any relationship been established between the two works in any study. In this study, the similarities and differences between the two Works are evaluated with the comparative literature method.
