NEW COLORS OF TURKEY TURKISH VOCABULARY ONOMASIOLOGICAL A RESEARCH
In this study, the color names used in industrial domains have been drawn attention and examined. Those color names considerably contribute vocabulary of Turkey Turkish and have been examined for studies of color vocabulary. Those color names which are located in catalogues of industrial product are lexical items that the naming ways of Turkish is used effectively and have striking features. It has been appeared that the concepts within basic vocabulary like plant, animal, time, mine, equipment etc. are determinant in the naming of color. The colors have been named using entity that they are related or their part as base and by way of metonym.
