THE USE OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING TURKISH VOCABULARY AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
It’saccepted on condiation that educational and teaching materials organised in accordance with multi-senses education process is always more fruitful. Technological materials make learning enviroment diverse. In this sense, while teaching foreigners, Turkish vocabulary technological materials should effectively used. In this study the methods that will contribute to teaching Turkish vocabulary as foreign language and easy to use technics are presented. These methods are selected making use of experiences of theteachers of Turkish as foreign language and educational technologies practice fields and usage zones are determined. Computers, the net, multimedia based lessons CD’s, electronic dictinoaries, materials such as projector that make visual and audiotory learning possible can readily, effectively used in teaching vocabulary as a method. In addition, smart boards, smart telephones-tablet PC’s are developed that enable  International Black Sea University, Tiflis, Gürcistan, Türk Filolojisi Doktora Öğrencisi, suat_kang@yahoo.com learning hands on. Various Technologies of different features in teaching vocabulary of Turkish as foreign language are widely used as effective methods. Via these above mentioned processes gained vocabulary stay longer in long term memory. Far more educational materials should be developed in regard to teaching Turkish vocabulary as a foreign language. Word games, presentations, films, clips with subtitles, animations, vocabulary learning programs, illustrated electronic dictionaries and samilar appilacations for vocabulary teaching should be used to contirubute the whole process. Classrooms that are used for teaching Turkish as a foreign language should be equipped with technological materials. Teachers of Turkish as a foreign language should be trained to used this technology effectively.
