Consolidating narrative literary texts and clarifying them by analyzing them depends on a full understanding of the concept of human in them. In order to distribute humanely, it is of great importance for anthropology to address the conditions of human existence. Takiyyettin Mengüşoğlu; He states that the only way for a human being to speak as a human being is through expression in the ontic, concrete integrity of the human being. Mengüşoğlu points out knowing the conditions of human existence as the way to do this. Based on this statement of Mengüşoğlu and its related functioning, we took the conditions of these beings as basis in order to examine the concept of Memduh Şevket Esendal in his stories and novels. In Esendal's works, we preferred to examine people as children. Man takes a stance as a being that demonstrates the values he contains. Values; They vary including high values, behavioral values and vehicle values. Human phenomena that show relationships with the characteristics of these beings, want, know, and behave allow us to recognize them. Children experience the beginnings of human stories. A person who acquires values shows himself in the child where he lives. Some children; While some children take a stand for high values such as love, pity and rights; Instrumental values such as bullying and lying emerge victorious. They show their position in social life with their existence that gives them their value. With these features, Esendal's stories and novels include children; It allows us to recognize ourselves as a person who is flamboyant, knows, wants, behaves and gives values. Moreover, as humans are better understood, analysis of literary texts in which humans are included gains power.
