Prophet Muhammad, which we can regard as one of the most tragic events witnessed in the history of Islam. Beloved grandson of the Prophet, Hz. The horrific murder of Hussein by being left without water was kept alive as an indescribable pain in the collective mind of Muslims. This process was supported by organizing various mourning ceremonies in the month of Muharram, when the incident is considered to have taken place. Karbala narratives, which first emerged from the oral culture environment, have diversified over time and have been legendary and told in different forms. There are different narrations produced to explain this painful incident. These narrations were first conveyed to the Prophet and then to the Islamic Ummah through him. These are prophetic rumors that Husayn will be killed. As understood from the narrations, Hz. The news that Hussein would be martyred was tried to be explained through the messages that Gabriel conveyed to our Prophet. Even though the narratives are at a level that pushes the limits of reason and science today, they are based on some justifications. These narrations instill religious teachings in Muslims and reflect possible situations that may occur in the context of the conditions of the period.
