SOCIOLINGUISTIC STUDY ON THE LANGUAGE OF CHAT SHAPED ON INTERNET SOCIETY
Internet usage in Turkey is increasing daily. Communication is one of the most common uses of the internet. Use of internet in the communication has led to "internet chat language”. Much-criticized this new field of language use must be considered in many ways .In this study the general characteristics of the chat language has been touched on the internet and has been tried to determine the social structure that affect formation of this language. It has been discussed whether or not the use of this new language, which came into our lives with examples taken from the internet chat society, can be explained by ignorance and language insusceptibility.
