OTTOMAN INSTITUTIONS: THE INITIATORS OF CLASSICAL TURKISH LITERATURE IN THE BALKANS
The Balkans has an effective role in the development of Classical Turkish Literature. The cities conquered one after the other were transformed into Turkish cities in a short time. The settlements whose cultural background became functional have established the base of classical Ottoman Arts in a wide framework from literature to Husn’i Khat, from Architecture to music. An overview of the conquest, education, settlement and development policies in the area, presents a deep evaluation of the influence of these policies on classical Turkish Literature.
