THE FACT OF MYSTICISM IN THE LIFE AND WORKS OF NECIP FAZIL KISAKÜREK
Necip Fazıl Kısakürek is a unique personality who has deeply affected the Republican era of Turkish literature both as a man of thought and action and a strong litterateur. In the works that he has written up in various kinds such as poetry, drama, novel, and story the subjects of religion, mysticism, history and philosophy take a wide place. He has also a struggle by means of his works reflecting and consisting of his thoughts as well as his literary works. He has affected his era and the intellectuals coming after his era. Necip Fazıl, who has put Islam and mystic thought to the center of his ideas since his thirties, has written almost all of his works with the aim of arising a youth living in the direction of this. The fact of mysticism in the works of Necip Fazıl living with such a sense of objective when handled in that respect is an indispensable subject of investigation. This study not having an aim except for being just an addition to the studies made on this subject and about him consists of the writer’s first acquaintance with mysticism, his new life that begins with mysticism, and the effects of mysticism on his works. Furthermore, the scope of the impact of mysticism beginning with Aşki and going on with Arvasi, and the thought of Necip Fazıl concerning mysticism will be mentioned.
