ROLE OF POPULAR MUSIC IN DEGENERATION OF TURKISH FROM THE 90s TO TODAY
Music has speciality of proliferation. Now, this case has gared up with impact of progressing of technology. Through mass media, every song can be listened by Turkey moreover by all the world in a while. Therefore, lyrics of songs are talked about and affect colloquial language. But, it stands out that negative effects of popular songs that has produced in last 20 years. Especially, songs that young people listened, affected by west culture and produced because of commercial concern has argon and foreign vocabulary.
This case affects colloquial language. In this study, its researched that negative effects of music on language and its aimed that harmful danger on language. In this article, it will be showed that examples of songs, criticisms on these songs and will be offered solutions.
