The syntax in Ahmed Hamdi Tanpınar's Story "Abdullah Efendinin Rüyaları”
SIn this article, in the story of Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar's work “Abdullah Efendinin Rüyaları“, syntactic structures were evaluated in terms of language. From Abdullah Efendi's Rüyaları story, more than one sentence was taken from each page of the work and these sentences were analyzed acording to syntax. The sentences were selected from each page of the work were analyzed according to the meaning, type and place of sentence, simple, unified, compound and ordered sentences according to sentence structure. In the Sentences were were formed by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar’s unique style word phrases fixed and were shown as a table. The aim of this article is to contribute to syntax studies and to determine how Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, one of the most important writers of Turkish Literature, uses the Turkish language with his skill of using the Turkish language skillfully. It was also aimed to reach information about the author's style and sentence stracture. Based on the sentences chosen, it determined that the author has chosen a complex, long and compound sentences in a unique style. It was observed that Tanpınar's mastery of the language and his use of Turkish skillfully were included in the half-story semi-novel.
Tanpınar used the words from East and West to Turkish functionally acording to the logic of Turkish language. In his descriptions the author used the language of folk literature and folk literature as well as the works of classical literature in his works. In the work, it is determined that the author, who skillfully uses all the possibilities of language, makes the work more fluently with folk language and folkloric factors. The awake attention and a good observer quality is also seen in this work. Tanpınar is one of the rare writers in Turkish literature who has a unique language and style
