Humorous Elements In Idioms
One of the important elements of vocabulary of a language is idioms, too. Users of language goes to the way of enrichment by processing the source language in time in order to express what they want better and make the expressions more efficient and livelier. On the occurance process of idioms which are a part of meaningful and abstract wealth of language, most of the time humour, depending on human intelligence steps in as well. In this study humorous elements in idioms were tried to be idendified and classified by handied. With this purpose, idioms that take part in “ Sınıflandırılmış Deyimler Sözlüğü” by Metin Yurtbaşı were examined an evalualed ın terms of humorous elements.
