THE SEVEN LETTERS (AHRUFUS SEBA) OF QURAN
The subject of the Seven Letters is an important subject of the Islamic history. Many scholars had different understandings and explanations concerning the matter. The hadith about the revelation of Quran in seven letters have been transmitted to us thoroughly through successive narration. Quran was revealed in Qurayshian dialect. So, temporarily, the Prophet asked permission for the rest six dialects (letters) from Allah to make it easier for people who do not know the dialect to memorize Quran.
