Altun Yaruq Sudur: Book VIII, Great Sarasvati (Chapter XV, Part Two)
Abstract Altun Yaruq Sudur (Suvar?aprabhasottama) is a sutra which belongs to Mahayana Buddhism. This text includes the essence and philosophy of Buddhism, as well as legends and sermons of Buddha. Altun Yaruq Sudur was translated from Chinese to Uighur by Ši?ko Šäli Tutu?. Altun Yaruq Sudur has a lot of manuscripts. Within these the biggest copy is St. Petersburg manuscript. There are more than seventy Altun Yaruq Sudur manuscripts in Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences Turfan collection. In this article, titled Great Sarasvati is transliterated into Turkish, explained and analysed.
