Özet
Özne, cümle denilen dil birliğinin yüklemden sonra gelen ikinci önemli unsurudur. Türkiye Türkçesi’nde öznenin tanımında, ne olduğunda genel hatlarıyla uzlaşan yazılı kaynaklar; öznenin türleri konusunda ise uzlaşamamıştır. Bunun nedeni öznenin özelliklerinin dilbilgisi ve cümle bilgisini konu edinen çalışmalarda hâlâ bütün yönleri ile net olarak ortaya konulamaması ve belirlenememesidir.
Bu çalışmada öznenin özellikleri mevcut dil bilgisi, söz dizimi kitapları, roman, hikâye vb. çalışmalardaki cümle örneklerine dayalı olarak betimlenmiş ve Türkiye Türkçesi’nde özne türlerine dayalı yapılan sınıflandırmaların aslında öznenin özelliklerini oluşturduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
The subject is the second important element that comes after the predicate of the language unit called the sentence. In Turkish language of Turkey, written sources agree in general terms with the definition of the subject and what the subject is but they do not agree on the types of the subject. The reason for this that the features of the subject cannot be clearly defined and determined in all aspects of the studies that are about the grammar and sentence knowledge.
In this study, the features of the subject are defined based on the sentence examples of the available grammar, syntax boks, novels, stories etc. and it is concluded that the classifications made based on the types of the subject actually create the features of the subject.
