In this study, the detailed analysis of the work named “Kitabı Dede Korkut” ve Gayri-Selis Mantık (“The Book of Dede Korkut” and Fuzzy Logic), which is prepared in the triangle of literature-language-logic, and which is believed to have a sociological dimension, instructive, eye-opening and guiding features in Turkology, will be discussed. This work, in which the principles of a theory known as Fuzzy Logic / Bulanık Eseme / Puslu Mantık / Çoklu Değerler Mantığı / Çoklu Mantık, are applied to a folk epic for the first time, was written by Kemal Abdulla-Refik Aliyev. It is thought that the first application of the mathematical logic theory (Fuzzy Logic) called Çoklu Değerler Mantığı, which was put forward by a Turkish philosopher (Lütfi Aliasker Zade), to the Dede Korkut Epics increased the value of the study. In addition, the fact that the Dede Korkut Epics bring to light the democratic way of thinking that settled in the thought system of our ancestors from the hidden language layers, doubles the value of the book. The work, which is hoped to guide and shed light on other studies, consists of the introduction part in which the importance of Dede Korkut Epics is reminded once again and its value is emphasized, five articles in which the fuzzy logic theory is applied on Dede Korkut Epics, summary and bibliography. The work has shown us that the democratic approach in the way of thinking of the creators of the Dede Korkut Epics is not a coincidence. Multiple choice possibilities and democratic approach, which are the basic principles of fuzzy logic, have survived to the present day through literary texts as a characteristic of our people.
